{"id":52783,"date":"2024-05-28T19:03:17","date_gmt":"2024-05-28T09:03:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abnews.com.au\/?p=52783"},"modified":"2024-05-28T19:03:17","modified_gmt":"2024-05-28T09:03:17","slug":"president-receives-credentials-of-finland","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aglowmedia.com.au\/?p=52783","title":{"rendered":"President receives credentials of Finland, Guatemala, Ireland envoys"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>President Mohammed Shahabuddin today received credentials from ambassadors of the three countries to Bangladesh separately at Bangabhaban here.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The three non-resident ambassador-designate are &#8212; Kimmo Lahdevirta of Finland, Omar Castaneda Solares of Guatemala and Kevin Kelly of Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>Welcoming the envoys in Dhaka, the president said Bangladesh&#8217;s foreign policy attaches importance to bilateral and friendly relations with all, President&#8217;s Press Secretary Joynal Abedin told BSS after the meetings.<\/p>\n<p>Shahabuddin said Bangladesh has always given priority to expand bilateral relations in terms of trade and investment.<\/p>\n<p>He expressed his hope that the bilateral relations with these three countries would further be consolidated during the new envoys assignments here.<\/p>\n<p>Terming Bangladesh as a country with huge potentials, the president urged the ambassadors to use all possibilities to strengthen trade ties between Bangladesh and their respective countries.<\/p>\n<p>He also stressed exchange of visit at the government and private levels to explore the trade and investment potentials of the three countries.<\/p>\n<p>Referring to the investment-friendly environment and other facilities in Bangladesh, the head of state urged the ambassadors to encourage their businessmen to increase investment in bilateral potential sectors here.<\/p>\n<p>About the Rohingya repatriation, he said, &#8220;Although Bangladesh provided shelter to displaced Myanmar nationals on humanitarian grounds, it has now become a complex socio-economic problem&#8221;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>President Mohammed Shahabuddin today received credentials from ambassadors of the three countries to Bangladesh separately at Bangabhaban here.
