On Sunday 24/03/2024 at 5:30 pm, Iftar Mahfil and Independence Day were celebrated by Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP Australia Branch at Lakemba Library Auditorium.

The program was presided over by the newly elected president of Australia BNP AFM Tawhidul Islam and conducted by the general secretary Md Hayder Ali. At the beginning of the program, Quran was recited by AKM Manjurul Haque Alamgir.

Dr. Moin Khan, a member of the BNP Standing Committee participated as the chief guest, Amir Khosru Mahmud, one of the leaders of the BNP Standing Committee, was specially present. BNP International Affairs Secretary Mohammad Rashedul Haque, International Affairs Secretary, National Central Executive Committee BNP gave a welcome speech. Dr. Moniruzzaman spoke among the local leaders.

Other leaders present included Assistant Treasurer Khaja Daud Hossain,  Office Secretary Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman, Assistant Office Secretary Md Mofijal Islam Sagar, BNP Australia leaders Md. Juman Hossain, Moksed Alam Dipu, Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, Delwar Hossain, Mohammad Shahed, Hannan Rana, Abdul Alim, Khadija Jaman Rupom, Hasna Hena, Mohammad Ali,   Abul Hossain, Harunur Rashid, Mohammad Nurul Haque, Fakhrul Haque Munna, and Mobarak Hossain.

Bangladesh Nationalist Youth Party, Australia leaders Muhammad Jahangir Alam,  Md Farooq Khan Mamun Bola, Abu Bakar Siddique and others were present at the event.

Bangladesh Nationalist Volunteer Party, Australia leaders Moshiur Rahman Tuhin, Md. Zahid Hossain,  Ahsan Habib, Wares Mahmud, Azizun Nahar Mala, Murad Hossain, Shahinur Rahman and others were present.

Among the other leaders of BNP, Asharaful Alam Roni, Md. Sarwar Kamal Chowdhury, Md. Salim Lakiat, Nazrul Islam Nafiz, Mojibur Rahman Md. Jasim, Nurul Azim Shamsul Alam, Yasin Arafat Sabuj, Abida Sultana, Hannan Rana and others were present. About 250 leaders and workers were present at the event.
